Puzzle #59: “Leftover Thanksgiving Goodies”

Good evening, puzzlers!
Ah, it feels good to be back…finals are almost done, this brutal semester is finally over, and I’m ready to go hibernate until 2016. Before that, however, it’s time to dig up a puzzle I’d had 3/4 done several weeks ago, only to find that my PC .txt-to-.puz stuff still wasn’t working. So here it is now…in the spirit of a veeery belated Thanksgiving! Just felt too gimmicky not to share; I’ll be back with something more timely next week (yes, that’s right, next WEEK, whoop!). Will say this: as far as the whole “indie element” goes regarding my puzzles, this one’s definitely up there in random crap you don’t usually find in mainstream crosswords. Also, if I may say, 24D might just be one of my favorite clues I’ve ever written…MIGHT. I haven’t decided whether or not it’s too stretchy.
Sincerely,
The Grid Kid
IT’S ALIVE!
